Sir Bear has been adopted!

I brought him to my vets last week for a skin rash, and one of the vet techs asked if we ever get Shitzu's since she lost hers 5 months ago. I told her that we occasionally do and I'd look into it... BUT throughout the visit she kept coming over to Bear, snuggling with him and talking to him, and before I left she asked me a million questions, and ask for his adoption info...

That same night she had filled out an application, put down a deposit, emailed me twice and left me a voicemail! She had fallen head over heels and he was such a perfect match personality wise! She even told me that she would never have considered a Boston, but she just feel madly in love!

I did the home visit and Bear met the family and he was amazing! Their dog Koda (an 11 y.o. lab/springer mix) can be a bit huffy but was fine with Bear, just a bit excited and barky, and Bear was completely unfazed by it. He just gently sniffed Koda and wandered off when Koda got too excited.
He sniffed the cats and gently backed off when they got spooked. He was enthralled with the ferret, but again is the calmest gentleman and just watched the ferret play in it's cage, without being stiff or obsessive one bit.
He also plopped down on the couch like he always lived there!

Amy's spouse is a total cat person, and he is disabled so he's at home all day, and he was snuggling with Bear telling him -"Are you gonna be my best buddy? Are we gonna be pals?" it was so cute!

They have a 10 year old son who is wonderful with the animals and I have no concernes about them at all! I know Bear will be really, really happy with them... He'd even get to come to work at the vets office with Amy, so I'd get to see him from time to time!

I even got an email from Amy the same night they got him:
"OMG Hanna, The little boy came home and immediately hit it off with my son! He followed Hunter around and got up on the bed with him while he read! Its perfect!
Thank you again!
Amy"

I am so excited!! I love happy endings...
